What they do
Supporters Direct helps fans to set up democratic cooperatives (known as supporters’ trusts) to gain influence in the running and ownership of their clubs.
Why they exist
They exist because we are needed: The game can be better run and should be more responsive to the needs of its fans and local communities.
How they do it
They do it by sharing the experience of supporters’ trusts & community owned clubs across the game, helping them to speak with one voice so that they can challenge & change the way that clubs and the game behaves.
What makes them different
They are from the grassroots and operate as insiders. This allows them to work within the game, with government and others, whilst being a positive influence and a credible voice with the movement that they serve.
